I have used John's Auto of over 10 years and have always been pleased with the service and the quality. I also have given him some difficult problems with 15-year old cars, and the team was always willing to work with me to solve the problems while keeping the costs down.
I'm not from the area and had been looking around for an auto repair shop to fix a wheel bearing issue. I chose John's Auto Repair first because they offered a 5% student discount for UNH student and faculty. I like to support businesses that support schools. However, when I walked into this repair shop a woman at the desk did not smile or greet me. Instead she looked at me like she was pissed. I spoke with her and a repair man who appeared to be very nice. I decided not to get my car fixed here. I'd be more willing to give my business to a place where I am greeted and taken care of professionally. She couldn't even crack half a smile. If you want to make money and gain customer loyalty just put a smile on your face and treat people kindly and with respect!!
I have been using John's Auto Repair since I moved to Lee in June of 2013, so 2+ years. They are very reasonably priced, give helpful advice, and don't do unnecessary repairs. Lisa is always very accommodating and I wasn't "from the area" when I moved here from Arkansas.
